ArtArtistic Impressions Art Studio Sessions Instructor: Davina Parypa
Students will have the opportunity to learn how to apply different design principles in their work. Focus will be placed on values, drawing and painting techniques. How to apply different materials into their works to get the desired effects.
Children Class Session Ages 9 to 13 Class Description
Each session will focus on building skills in drawing by introducing a project for the children to follow. Projects could be still life scene, a masters artwork, or from a photograph. During this process children will learn the value of learning what we see around us and how we can relate it in art. Children will have the opportunity to explore different medias and learn basic design and composition concepts. The value scale and color theory will be introduced as part of the project.
Teen to Adult Class Description Focus will be on learninghow to planyour painting. An importance will be placed good drawing techniques. This is great for all skill levels for students that want to improve their drawing and painting skills. Reference photos and examples of the Masters’ artworks will be used to training the eye to seecomposition and design. Understand the importance of value ranges and the use of space.
