Crystal LaDue is an artist in Port Orchard,
Washington. She lived in Maui, Hawaii for seven years before moving to KitsapCounty.
Most of her studies were under her grandmother Ruby Lea DeBlasio, an
accomplished artist in Maui,
HI. She studied under her
grandmother from the age of sixteen through the age of twenty-three.
Formal art classes consisted of: drawing and painting classes at Mt.VernonHigh School with art shows in the community; Art
Appreciation at the SkagitValleyCollege;
and currently attending live art drawing sessions twice a month in Bremerton, Washington.
Volunteer work included one year of teaching children ages five through seven
in a creative art class at the HiddenCreek Elementary School
in Port Orchard, Washington, and assisting at
the Bremerton Art Walk in the Artistic Impressions Fine Arts Gallery and Studio
in Bremerton, Washington.
Crystal's artwork mostly
consists of oil paintings which are displayed in the Artistic Impressions Fine
Arts Gallery and Studio in Bremerton,
Washington. She also enjoys
working in watercolor, pastels and acrylics. Past art commissions include
three paintings for separate individuals in WashingtonState and Hawaii. Upcoming commissions include
an oil painting for Evelyn's Tavern in ArlingtonWashington and oil paintings with
musical themes in the DJ's Music in Port Orchard, WA.
